USA - Florida. The Florida Supreme Court overturned the death sentence of Zachary Wood

The Florida Supreme Court overturned the death sentence of Zachary Wood. The Court announced that, as a result of a lack of evidence, Wood is being taken off of death row and will serve life without parole instead. In 2015, Wood, 26, White, was convicted and sentenced to death 12-0 in Washington County in the killing of 66-year-old James Shores on April 18, 2014. (See FEBRUARY 27, and MAY 12, 2015).
