The Georgia Supreme Court has reinstated a death sentence given to Brian Keith Terrell. The court's ruling was unanimous.Terrell, 29, was sentenced to death in January 1995 in Newton County for the June 20, 1992 robbery and murder of 70-year-old John Henry Watson. The Court reversed a lower-court judge's ruling that Terrell's death sentence should be set aside because his lawyers provided ineffective assistance of counsel.
