The U.S. Supreme Court will wait until at least Wednesday before announcing whether or not they will hear an appeal by Troy Davis. Davis' current death warrant, which expires at noon Tuesday, will expire.  “They’ll have to issue a new death warrant,’’ said Davis Attorney, Deirdre Lynn O’Connor. “He’s outside the warrant.’’Chatham County Superior Court Judge Penny Haas Freesemann set Davis’s execution between noon Sept. 23 and noon Sept. 30.
