USA - Kentucky. A jury recommended the death penalty for Carlos Ordway

A Fayette Circuit Court jury recommended the death penalty for Carlos Ordway. Ordway, 29, black, was accused of killing two of his alleged accomplices in a Louisville bank robbery, Patrick Lewis, 21, and Rodrieques Turner, 25, on Aug. 11, 2007. The defense argued that the killing was self-defense. Formal sentencing by Judge Pamela Goodwine is scheduled Sept. 10.
