USA - Kentucky. Judge Pamela Goodwine sentenced Carlos Ordway, 29, black, to death

Fayette Circuit Judge Pamela Goodwine sentenced Carlos Ordway, 29, black, to death. A jury on July 29 (see) recommended death after finding him guilty of killing two of his alleged accomplices in a Louisville bank robbery, Patrick Lewis, 21, and Rodrieques Turner, 25, on Aug. 11, 2007. The defense argued that the killing was self-defense.
