USA - Louisiana. Judge June Darensburg sentenced Isaiah Doyle, 28, black, to death

Judge June Darensburg of the 24th Judicial District Court sentenced Isaiah Doyle, 28, black, to death, following the March 25 (see) jury’s recommendation. Doyle was convicted of 1st-degree murder for the Aug. 10, 2005, death of a woman, Hwa Lee, 26, a Korean immigrant who was shot while tending the cash register of her parents' convenience store.
