A Lafayette County jury decided Caleb Corrothers, 29, black, should “suffer death” for shooting and killing father and son, Frank and Taylor Clark, on July 11, 2009. Circuit Court Judge Andrew Howorth read the jury’s verdict sentencing Caleb Corrothers to the death sentence. Howorth set the execution by lethal injection for 6 p.m. Nov. 15. Corrothers killed the Clarks, apparently over drugs and money.
