USA - Mississippi. A jury sentenced James Cobb Hutto to death

A Hinds County Circuit Court jury sentenced James Cobb Hutto, 42, White, to death in the Sept. 13, 2010 murder of 81-year-old Ethel Winstead Simpson. Jurors delivered the sentence to Hinds County Circuit Court Judge Bill Gowan. Police in Mississippi and Alabama charged Hutto, a convicted sex offender, with Simpson's slaying and the death of his aunt, Virginia Rardon, 68.
