Lyon County District Court Judge John Paul Schlegelmilch sentenced Jeremiah Bean, 27, White, to 5 consecutive death penalties. He upheld the recommendation voted on Aug. 6 (see) by a Lyon County jury. Bean was convicted on five counts of 1st-degree murder after killing five people between May 10th and 13th of 2013. His 1st victims were Bob and Dottie Pape (both 844) inside their home. 3 days later he killed Eliazar Graham (52). Later that day, murdered Lester Leiber (69) and Angie Duff (67) inside their home. Lyon County Deputy District. Attorney Jeremy Reichenberg said Bean told friends the motive behind the first two murders was simple. "He told them the reason why he murdered Bob and Dorothy Pape was it was Friday, he was broke and he needed to come up with some cash."
