A Lake County jury unanimously recommended the death penalty for Joseph Thomas, 27, white, convicted of the Nov. 26, 2010 killing of Annie McSween, 49. Thomas was found guilty of aggravated murder, kidnapping, rape and aggravated robbery. A final decision will be made by Judge Richard Collins Jr. on Oct. 15.
