A three-judge panel sentenced Arron Lawson, 24, White, to four death penalties in Lawrence County. Lawson waived his right to a jury sentencing after admitting to the killings of Donald (50) and Tammie McGuire (43), and of their daughter Stacey Jackson Holston (25), and her son, 8-year-old Devin Holston. He also stabbed her husband, Todd Holsten. The murders happened on October 11, 2017. The case marked the first death penalty handed down in Lawrence County since the 1960s.
