USA - Ohio. Judge Maureen Sweeney sentenced Lance Hundley to death.

Judge Maureen Sweeney upheld the jury's unanimous recommendation that Lance Hundley (48), Black) face the death penalty. The same jury previously convicted Hundley after finding him guilty of beating 41-year-old Erika Huff to death on November 6, 2015. Prosecutors say Hundley attacked Huff at her home on Cleveland Street, beat her to death, and then set the home on fire to cover up the crime.
