A Bucks County jury sentenced Alfonzo Sanchez, 26, to death for killing Lisa Diaz, 27, last October. That night Sanchez also murdered Mendez Thomas, 22. For that act, the jury sentenced him to life in prison. Sanchez and Steven Miranda, 20, and another man, Alexander Martinez, 23, went to the apartment that night to while commit a burglary. Miranda faces the prospect of life in prison, while Martinez pleaded guilty to lesser crimes and testified against the others.
