A York County jury sentenced Paul Henry III, 41, White, to death. He was previously found guilty of 2 counts of 1st-degree murder and 1 count of robbery for bursting into a house with his wife, Veronique, and killing Foday Cheeks, 31, and Danielle Taylor, 26, on Sept. 13, 2016. "I sentence you to be handed over to the Department of Corrections, and that you be confined until proper date for execution can be scheduled, and at that time, for you to suffer the death penalty," Common Pleas Judge Michael E. Bortner said. At trial, Henry testified in his own defense. He blamed his wife. Veronique Henry died by suicide in York County Prison in 2016. She was 32.
