Martin Robles, 33, white, was executed. Robles was responsible for the shooting deaths of 2 rival teenage gang members, Jesus Omar Gonzales and John Commisky on Nov. 12, 2002. Robles becomes the 9th condemned inmate to be put to death this year in Texas, the 473rd since Texas resumed executions in 1982, the 31st condemned inmate to be put to death this year in the USA and the 1265th overall since the nation resumed executions on January 17, 1977.
