USA - Virginia. The House has approved HB 166 expanding the death penalty

The House has approved 75-25 HB 166 allowing the death penalty for those who kill auxiliary police officers, fire marshals and EMS personnel. The bill now heads to Gov. Bob McDonnell, who supports expanding the death penalty. (see also Feb. 3, 15 and March 10).
