Huu, 53, was found guilty of trafficking about two kilograms of heroin following a trial in Tay Ninh province bordering Cambodia, the provincial court official said.
Three Vietnamese accomplices, aged 27 to 38, all from Ho Chi Minh City, received jail terms ranging from 15 years to life. The men were arrested in December 2004 on the Vietnam-Cambodia border.
