VIETNAM: DEATH SENTENCE HANDED TO SIX DRUG TRADERS

a court in Vietnam’s northern Lai Chau province sentenced six people to death for drug trafficking. Ho A Cua, Giang A Tenh, Sung A Thai, Ho A Vang, Mua Va Thanh and Ly Seo Sua were arrested in September 2009 for smuggling 4.2 kgs of heroin into the adjacent province of Lao Cai.
The indictment said that the defendants were also involved in several other drug trafficking cases. Some of the convicts are related.
