Wife of the jailed university professor Hashem Aghajari questioned the veracity of the death sentence issued in her husband's case. Zahra Behnudi said the verdict was extremely dubious "because it has not been officially conveyed to my husband's attorney". Aghajari's attorney Saleh Nikbakht said the ruling on his client's case has been confirmed by Branch 14 of western city of Hamedan's Public Court and sent to him on May 3.
