WOMAN EXECUTED IN IRAN

a woman in Iran who unintentionally killed her father-in-law in the course of a family dispute in 2005 was executed in Qazvin prison’s facilities for women. The woman had no money and was unable to hire a lawyer, and was sentenced to death on the law of “equal punishment”. The deceased’s family refused to forgive her and the court order was carried out.
