Wth weapons in their hands, thousands of Shiites, supporters of rebel leader Moqtada al Sadr, took to the streets of Baghdad, to demand death for Saddam Hussein without a trial. The demonstration began after Friday's prayer, and was called by sheik Hadi al Darraji, who had just finished his sermon in the mosque of al Hikma, in Sadr City quarter. The armed guerrillas of Mahdi, Sadr's movement, started the demonstration along with the members of the new Iraqi police, which hadbecome their ally and even the loudspeakers installed on one of the police cars were used to chant slogans asking the capital punishment for the old rais, called "Haddam", which means destroyer.
