Wu Hsiang-Ming, 38, from Dazu County, Chongqing, was executed for crimes including organising crime syndicates, murder and assault. He was sentenced on August 5, 2009, by the Chongqing Municipal First Intermediate People’s Court and deprived of political rights for life and fined 200,000 yuan. On January 4, 2010, the Chongqing Municipal Higher People’s Court rejected his appeal.
