YEMEN: IRANIAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR DRUG CHARGES

Iranian man Mumtaz Sultan Amiri was sentenced to death by Judge Redhwan Al Namer of the Yemeni State Security Court for bringing drugs from Iran to Yemen by the Hudhramout east coast. He was amongst 10 Iranian men caught in December 2008 smuggling 1 ton and 60kg of drugs hidden in their boat.
