Yugoslav police announced the arrest of Dobrosav Gavric, whom they believed was the lone gunman who fired the shots which killed Zelijko Raznatovic, the Serbian warlord also known as Arkan. Arakan was shot at close range at Belgrade's Intercontinental Hotel on January 15. If found guilty, Gavric could face the death penalty.
