18-year old Rajah Ibrahim was shot in the head in Tulkarm after "confessing" to helping Israel to kill Raed Karmi, a leader of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an armed wing of the Fatah faction of Yassir Arafat, the Palestinian leader. Palestinian sources said that Ms Omar helped to plant the bomb which killed Karmi. She was seized by al-Aqsa gunmen on August 27 and filmed "confessing" that she had given information to Israel.
