3 SENTENCED TO DEATH IN UGANDA

two men and a woman have been separately sentenced to death for murder in the Bushenyi District. Arinaitwe Nicholas was convicted of murdering his former boss Lawrence Turyamureeba, the then Bushenyi District Internal security officer on March 9, 2003. He was convicted by the High Court in Bushenyi on February 8. A woman Jessica Kanyegyere was convicted of murdering her husband Moses Birebwoha. Another man Beron Muhwezi was sentenced to death for murdering his neighbour over a land dispute in Bunyaruguru county Bushenyi district.
