A carpenter who raped and killed his nephew will be executed by being thrown off a cliff in a sack, said an Iranian newspaper.
If he survives the fall down a rocky precipice, he will be hanged. He was given 20 days to appeal.
The man was arrested in the northwestern Iranian city of Mashhad after "seducing" and killing the 16-year-old boy, who worked as an assistant at his workshop.
Under Iran's Islamic law, pederasty, homosexuality and adultery are among a long list of crimes punishable by death.
