a condemned convict was executed at Pabna Jail, seven year after his conviction. He was identified as Sulaiman Sheikh, 35, son of Faizuddin Sheikh of Datia village of Bera upazila. Court convicted Suleiman, awarding capital punishment on 10 October 2004, for killing his wife. Suleiman was hanged to death by executioner Pabul Koyedi, 55, brought in Pabna from Jessore Jail to do the job. This was third execution in Pabna Jail in nine years. With this Pabul Koyedi has executed a total of 15 condemned convict in his life.
