A convicted drug trafficker, Sow Siow Yin, a 33 year old Malaysian woman, was executed at Changi Prison, Singapore. She was arrested with an accomplice in a Central Narcotics Bureau drug bust in September 1998 after being caught with 139.3 g of diamorphine. Both were sentenced to death after a four day trial in April, 1999.
