A court in Sylhet, Bangladesh, sentenced to death Bodruzzaman Bodor, 22, and gave life imprisonment to five others, after convicting them of murder. According to prosecution, Bodor, of Gazukata in Bianibazar, killed Jewel, a man from the same village, with a sharp weapon after the latter shouted at Bodor for disturbing his cousin on April 16, 2001.
