A court in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) sentenced to death an Omani for smuggling in large amounts of hashish and opium, a newspaper reported. The 35-year-old was caught in the Arabian sea emirate of Fujairah after a tipoff from an undercover agent, Gulf News said.
