a criminal court in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, sentenced a Bangladeshi man to death after he was convicted of murdering two brothers of the same nationality over a Dh300 debt.
Mohammed Al Rasheed had confessed to the police that he stabbed the two brothers, aged 30 and 32 years, two years ago following a rift caused by their refusal to pay back Dh300 they had borrowed from him. Rasheed had tried to flee the place just after he committed the two crimes but was seized by a police patrol which happened to be in that area.
