A former official of a Communist Party school in Beijing was sentenced to death for having his nephew kill his boss, the People's Daily reported. Chen Genchang, 59, wanted revenge after he was sacked in 1997 as deputy director of a party school at the China Aerospace Machinery and Electronics Corporation, AP cited the paper as saying.
On his uncle's orders, Wu Yabin broke into the school's offices and beat the director, surnamed Xie, to death with an iron bar on July 22, 1999. Wu was sentenced to death alongside Chen by the Beijing No 1 Intermediate People's Court.
