A small group of Amnesty International activists protested against China's human rights record and use of the death penalty while Chinese President Jiang Zemin toured the Athens Acropolis. Protesters gathered around a banner that said; "Mr. Zemin, how many people have been executed in China today?" They staged a mock execution with "Chinese soldiers" shooting kneeling civilians.
