A Taiwanese man who stabbed his parents to death in October 1998 was executed and his body donated for organ transplants, Taiwan television reported.
Television footage on May 6 showed Lin Ching-yueh, 22, who was sentenced to death in March, being brought out of the jail in Tucheng, a city outside Taipei.
He was later shot in the head, police said. His body was rushed to hospital to remove his organs, which Lin had donated to show his remorse, said a Buddhist master who guided Lin to take up the religion since his death sentence.
