A Vietnamese court sentenced two men to death and another to life imprisonment for counterfeiting Vietnamese banknotes.
The Ho Chi Minh City court found Tran Hoai Nam and Nguyen Van Phi played the leading role in an 18-member ring that printed 8,000 counterfeit bills, each with a face value of 50,000 dong (about $3.5), in Dong Nai province.
