A Wicomico County jury, presided over by Wicomico County Circuit Judge Donald C. Davis, sentenced Francis Zito to die for murdering 2 police officers who had come to his trailer to investigate a noise complaint. Zito was convicted last Friday of the February 2001 murders of County Sheriff's Deputy Jason Schwenz and Police Officer Michael Nickerson.
