a Will County jury sentenced Brian Nelson, 24, to death for the May 31, 2002, massacre of Sara Tennant, 19, Eric Tennant, 16, their father Harold Tennant, 46, and his girlfriend, Jean Bookwalter, 46. Sara and Nelson's 15-month-old daughter was found unharmed outside the home, where, Nelson said in a videotaped confession, he had left her.
Circuit Judge Gerald Kinney has not set an official sentencing date.
