A woman and a man were stoned to death in a west Iranian town after 15 years of imprisonment, the Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (CNRI) said.
At dawn officials and agents of the mullahs' regime stoned the two in Naqadeh, northwest Iran.
The woman, Goli Nik-Khou, and the man, Seyyed Younes Assadi, had been sentenced to 15 years in prison in 1987, but the mullahs' regime stoned them to death at the end of the long incarceration.
With these two cases, 25 persons, 17 of them women, have been sentenced to stoning since Khatami became president in 1997. Four women are languishing in jail, waiting to be stoned to death, CNRI said.
