A woman was hanged in Rajai Shahr Prison of Karaj, Iran.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the woman is identified as Behjat, 40, and was charged with murdering her husband with accomplicity of a man with the name of Mohammad Jafari.
Behjat’s father in law (father of the late husband who was murdered) and her two daughters were present under the execution. One of the daughters was crying and calling for her mother, while the other daughter was asking for her execution. The execution was finally carried out by the victims father, Behjat’s father in law. Mohammad Jafari had been hanged in Rajai Shahr Prison 10 months ago.
