About 200 women rallied in the Shiite Muslim holy city of Najaf to demand that ousted leader Saddam Hussein be executed for his regime's crimes against Iraq's majority community. The women marched from the city's 1920 Revolution Square towards the city centre holding up posters reading: "The grieving mothers, wives and sisters demand of the Iraqi justice system that it execute the dictator Saddam. The women, dressed head to toe in black, chanted: "Death to Saddam and the Baath."
