Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Ameer Khan sentence to death Bashir Ahmad with a fine of Rs. 50,000 for murder. Should the fine go unpaid the convict would have to undergo six additional months of rigorous imprisonment. According to the prosecution Ahmad killed Muhammad Hanif after he suspected him of having illicit relations with his mother.
