Adolph Gil Hernandez, 50, was executed in the night for fatally beating a 69-year-old West Texas woman with a baseball bat during a robbery at her home. He made a brief statement, expressing love to his family. "I want to thank my family for their help and moral support and for their struggle. It would have been a lot harder without their love.
