Alabama is considering changing its method of execution in light of the U.S. Supreme Court's upcoming review of Florida's electric chair. Alabama is one of four states which have the electric chair as their sole method of execution. Florida's electric chair carries the nickname "Old Sparky" while Alabama's is called "Yellow Mama."
