Amin Mrini, a Dutch citizen of Moroccan origin was sentenced to death in Salè, Morocco, for the premeditated murder of Ilona Nemeth, a Dutch citizen. The woman was murdered in Utrecht in 2005. Wanted by the Dutch authorities, Amin was arrested by Moroccan police in Salè, in 2006, under an international mandate.
