Amnesty International spoke out against the deaths of 352 suspects since a war on drugs was launched in Thailand in the beginning of February. "Amnesty International Thailand is seriously concerned about the Thai government's 'war against illegal drugs' campaign and its use of extra-judicial execution, as many suspected drug traffickers have reportedly been shot dead," the group said. "The use of extra-judicial killing other than in self-defence is a human rights violation," Amnesty country director Srirak Plipat said in the statement.
