an appeal court in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, has commuted the death sentence given by a lower court to two drug peddlers. Two men, an Arab and an European, were initially given the death penalty by the Court of First Instances for using and dealing drugs namely hashish. But the Court of Appeals reduced the sentence to four years for each of them. The verdict was ratified by Public Prosecution in Abu Dhabi. The men will be deported after completing their jail term.
