An Iraqi man, Mohammed Aziz Mohammed, 41, was sentenced to death by the Sharia Court in Ras Al Khaimah. He was found guilty of murdering his younger sister, Sabah Aziz Mohammed, and injuring his elder sister, Kawthar Aziz Mohammed, in a family dispute. Ahmed Al Ghoul, his appointed lawyer, said the only hope for Mohammed to escape capital punishment was for his parents to forgive him.
