Andrey Khvan was sentenced to death and four others to long prison terms for burglary and murder in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, the Uzbek newspaper Vecherniy Tashkent reported. The men, aged between 19 and 22, were found guilty of the organized crimes of murdering a guard and stealing computers and other equipment from the premises of a scientific research institute.
