At least four death row convicts were hanged in the jails of Larkana, Jhang, Multan and Sialkot on early morning, Dunya News reported. The dead bodies of the prisoners were handed over to their heirs after the executions.
According to details, death row prisoner Waris Mir was hanged in the Central Jail Larkana. Waris Mir was executed for abducting 10 PIA employees for ransom in 1995.
Death row convict Irfan was executed in the District Jail Jhang. Irfan had killed a woman during a robbery attempt in 2006.
Another death row convict was hanged in the Central Jail Multan. Prisoner Anwar-ul-Haq was executed for killing a man in 2000.
Death row convict Farooq was hanged in the District Jail Sialkot. Prisoner Farooq was executed for murdering a man in 1999.
